Day 1

Arrive in Leh

Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Experience the awe-inspiring flight with views of K2, Nanga Parbat, and the Nun Kun massif. Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude of 11,000 feet, with leisure time for a market stroll in the afternoon.

Day 2

Explore Leh

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of upper Leh, visiting Shanti Stupa for stunning views of the Indus Valley. Explore Sankar Gompa, a small Gelukpa monastery, and discover the ancient history at Namgyal Tsemo and the Leh Palace. Enjoy the architectural wonders and cultural richness of these historic sites.

Day 3

Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis - Leh

Begin with breakfast, then visit Shey Palace, home to a magnificent copper Buddha statue. Explore Thiksey Gompa, known for its impressive architecture and exquisite murals, and Hemis Gompa, famous for its annual festival and vast collection of artifacts. Immerse yourself in the spiritual and historical significance of these monasteries.

Day 4

Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh

Early morning, travel to Pangong Lake, a vast and stunning brackish lake stretching into Tibet. Witness its vibrant colors and reflections of the surrounding mountains, with a stop at Spangmik for panoramic views. Return to Leh, capturing the serene beauty of the lake and its unique landscape.

Day 5

Leh - Khardung La Pass - Leh

Embark on a journey to Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 5,600 meters. Experience the breathtaking views and the strategic importance of this historic pass, once a major trade route. Return to Leh with memories of this thrilling adventure.

Day 6

Leh - Lamayuru via Alchi

Drive to Lamayuru, stopping at the scenic confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers and visiting Alchi Monastery, renowned for its ancient paintings. Discover the unique history and architecture of this monastery, the only one not located on a hilltop. Arrive at Lamayuru, enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way .

Day 7

Visit Lamayuru Monastery

Explore Lamayuru Monastery, perched dramatically on a rock, known for its connection to the Drigungpa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Learn about its rich history, from the ancient temple built by Rinchen Zangpo to the monastic festival "Yuru Kabgyat." Visit Fotu La Pass, the highest point on the Srinagar-Leh highway, before returning to Lamayuru.

Day 8

Lamayuru - Rizdong - Leh

Return to Leh, stopping at the enchanting village of Uleytokpo, known for its breathtaking landscapes. Visit Rizong Monastery, appreciating its spiritual ambiance and beautiful setting. Continue your journey back to Leh, reflecting on the serene beauty and cultural heritage of the region.

Day 9

Leh - Transfer to the Airport

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. Depart with unforgettable memories of your spiritual and scenic journey through Ladakh. Safe travels as you continue your adventure or return home.
